Hi, I’m Brittany.

I’m a singer/songwriter and storyteller from South Dakota.  

 

​My writing began in country music — while a student in Nashville — and now transcends several genres at the encouragement of an Emmy-award-winning producer who listened to my work. 

​

I believe that music can heal, inspire, connect, and transcend differences across cultures and countries.  It can bring people together and foster an environment of empathy and understanding.  I dream that the power of my music will resonate, relate to, and perhaps even move people to make a change in their lives — or at the very least, make the world a little brighter.

Many of our experiences are shared, and they just need a little light — so we know we aren't alone.  Now in my thirties, l've had a lot of life experiences, but l also have a long way to go.  I struggle with a number of things common to humanity, but one thing I don't struggle with is authenticity.  That's what you'll hear in my work and it's what I want to share — honestly, sincerely, and unapologetically. 

 

Judy Garland, Shania Twain, Amy Grant, Kacey Musgraves, and Lana del Rey have all contributed to my melodic and lyrical musings, but my greatest inspiration comes from my faith, and personal mission statement: “Be salt & light to the world around me.”
